As we all know Covid-19 has really put a stop to a lot of our plans or at least changed our expectations, especially weddings. Kristen and Steve were married on June 6th at the Addisville church in front of 8 of their closest family members, their 4 children and their mothers. Although this was not the wedding Kristen had pictured, she confessed that it was so special to spend the day with just Steve and the kids.
The more I spoke with Kristen and Steve I could tell that the stars had really aligned for these two. Meeting at a family party where Kristen’s mother happened to live in the same neighborhood as Steve’s brother, now the new blended family will live in that same neighborhood as they met!
After their small church ceremony, I was blessed to be able to spend a few hours with this loving family taking their wedding photos. We started in front of the Addisville Church and then moved to the Churchville Nature Center for a family hike in the woods! I can honestly say that this will be a wedding stays with me forever, the love this family has for one another is something special.
